Extremely Rare Luxury sedan from the 50's. Competition for Cadillacs and Lincolns in that era.
This beautiful car has been approx. (3/4) three quarters restored from the frame up. Fresh two-tone paint (including jambs and engine compartment) and a newly rebuilt 374 cu. in. (6 Litre) V8 brute engine.
The interior has both original front and rear seats with that gorgeous brocade material. The dash is intact with all gauges including original radio. The car has electric windows and seats and a heater under the front seat as well as the one in the engine bay. This vehicle was factory produced with a self leveling - torsion leveling system which is in place. All hubcaps are present. We have almost but not all trim pieces and quite a few extra parts that are original pieces but redundant. Bumpers are here and rated a 7 out of ten for appearance due to chrome wear or scratches. One cathedral tail light intact and installed, other lens broken. Brand new window gaskets front and rear. Including thick bound reproduction of original service manual in auction.
Even a dynamite rare car has a down side so for full disclosure we list these items. The rear seat needs recovering. The two front windows are in place but have cracks. We understand not a difficult job to replace. A few pieces of trim are missing. Estimate 10 or less. We have yet to start the engine. It turns over but we are working on the timing. The power antenna is missing.
There is no air cleaner. Will need exhaust pipes and mufflers. Torsion leveling system installed but not secured to work.
This is the perfect start to an easy complete restoration. These are very rare vehicles.
